HSBC Hires New Global Head of Payments and Cash Management

HSBC today announced the appointment of Diane S. Reyes as Global Head of Payments and Cash Management (PCM), one of the three core businesses within HSBC's Global Transaction Banking (GTB) platform. Ms. Reyes, in her newly created role, will be based in New York and starts in September 2011, reporting to John Coverdale, Group General Manager and Head of Global Transaction Banking.
Ms. Reyes has over 30 years of financial services experience and comes from Citi which she joined in 2000. She ran Sales for Treasury & Trade Services, and then became Global Head of GTS Power, Energy, Chemicals, Metals & Mining. Since 2009 she has been Global Head of Payments for Global Transaction Services (GTS). In this role, Reyes was responsible for Citi’s Global Payments business in over 100 countries.
