22 March 2011
New York, NY – HSBC Bank USA, N.A, part of one of the world's largest financial services organizations, celebrates a notable anniversary this year with 50 years of service at the Pittsford branch, situated in Pittsford, New York. The branch first opened its doors half a century ago on June 26, 1961.
Located at 3225 Monroe Avenue, the 2,800 square-foot Georgian Colonial building still features the original brick construction and four-sided cupola as shown in the original plans, but today includes the latest in customer-friendly design and technology.
Prior to acquisition, the branch first opened under the name Genesee Valley Union Trust Company and was warmly welcomed into the growing neighborhood. Today, the branch is managed by Suzanne Ward and her dedicated staff of 11 team members, and continues to serve a vital role in the Pittsford community.
Lenette Laboda, Rochester District Executive, HSBC Bank USA, N.A., said: "HSBC is proud to mark 50 years of serving the Pittsford community locally while helping them to make the most of opportunities globally."
