Syracuse Banker Appointed to Senior Executive Position
Michael Masse has been appointed SVP and Regional District Executive for Central New York State.

New York, NY (March 17, 2010). HSBC Bank USA, N.A. (HSBC) has appointed Michael Masse, a local Syracuse-based banker with more than 30 years of finance industry experience, to the position of SVP and Regional District Executive for Central New York State. As part of his new role he will oversee the bank’s branch network across the region as well as continuing to lead HSBC’s Public Banking business throughout the country.
Since rejoining HSBC in 2005, Masse has been credited with re-energizing its Public Banking business. Earlier in his career he served as a Middle Market Relationship Manager with Marine Midland (Now HSBC), a role that led to a leadership position in commercial credit administration and next to the position of Commercial Executive for the Binghamton Elmira region.

Masse holds a BA in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, an MBA from Rider University and an MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
A resident of the Greater Syracuse area for over twenty years, Michael Masse is a member and past President of the Fayetteville Manlius Board of Education, Treasurer of the New York State School Boards Association, and a Board Member for the New York State Teachers Retirement Fund.
