Patrick Campion to Head HSBC U.S. Private Bank

NEW YORK - HSBC Private Bank, a unit of one of the world's largest financial services companies, today announced it has hired Patrick Campion as a managing director and head of the U.S. private bank reporting to Marlon Young. He succeeds Young, who in September became chief executive officer for the Americas, HSBC Private Bank. Campion, who will join in January 2007, will be responsible for continuing the private bank's expansion efforts in the U.S.
Campion was, most recently, head of Deutsche Bank U.S. Private Bank. Previously, he served as Manhattan region head for Citigroup Private Bank. He also spent 10 years at JPMorgan Chase as a relationship manager in both the corporate banking and private banking businesses.
