Liz Claiborne Selects HSBC Retail Services to Fashion Its Private Label Credit Program

PROSPECT HEIGHTS, Ill. – HSBC - North America’s retail services business has teamed with Liz Claiborne Inc. to launch a private label credit program for several subsidiaries of the leading fashion apparel and accessories company.
“Today’s shopper expects a lot from the stores they frequent and the private label credit program we created with HSBC will help us to provide the service and convenience consumers demand,” said Paul Thomasset, president, Outlet at Liz Claiborne Inc. “We are excited to work with such a world-class organization.”
HSBC’s private label credit program will provide customers with a convenient way to pay, while establishing loyalty with the individual brands. Each of the retail stores, which include Lucky Brand Jeans, Elisabeth, Mexx, Liz Claiborne, Dana Buchman and Ellen Tracy Outlet, will have its own credit card with its respective brand name.
In addition to the private label credit program, Elisabeth cardholders will benefit from a points-based rewards program, whereby they will earn one point for every dollar charged on the Elisabeth card. The customers then will receive a reward certificate at the end of each quarter for the number of points earned. Certificates will be redeemable for merchandise at Elisabeth stores only.
