Suzanne Moran Joins HSBC Halbis Parners to Head Structure Bonds, Co-head Fixed Income Investing

NEW YORK – HSBC announced today that Suzanne Moran has joined its Halbis Partners (USA)Inc. unit as head of U.S. structured bond management and co-head of U.S. core and core-plus fixed income investment. Based in New York, Moran is a managing director and reports to Gregg Diliberto, global head of fixed income for Halbis Partners.
Halbis Partners is the specialist, active investment business HSBC is forming out of its existing global asset management business.
“Suzanne’s arrival is the latest step in our strategy to establish HSBC Halbis Partners in the U.S. and follows several recent appointments aimed at strengthening our fixed income capabilities in\ the U.S. and globally.” Diliberto said. “I am confident that Suzanne’s talent and experience will add materially to our core fixed income capability.”
Moran will be co-head of U.S. core and core-plus fixed income with Jeffrey Klein who joined HSBC earlier this year. She joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where she spent the past 19 years. Most recently, she was a managing director responsible for cash- and short-duration strategies. In that role, she was global head of investment policy for about $30 billion. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
