Beneficial branch managers to partner with Community Services Council in delivering meals to Salt Lake City seniors Jan. 30
--Beneficial also to present $1,000 grant to Council--
| WHAT: | As part of its monthly manager meeting, district sales manager Winslow Johnson and nine Utah branch managers from Beneficial Finance Corporation will partner with the Community Services Council to deliver meals to and visit with Salt Lake City seniors on Friday, Jan. 30, 2004.
Beneficial is a consumer finance company of Household International, Inc. Beneficial will also be presenting a $1,000 grant to the Community Services Council on behalf of its employees' volunteer efforts through the company's community outreach program, Help for Communities. This is the first time that Beneficial has partnered with the Community Services Council. The Council, through the Utah Food Bank, delivers food boxes and visits with seniors. The organization also provides home repairs, yard work and other services to help those seniors stay in their homes, instead of a nursing home. |
