Household volunteers and $1,000 grant support youth
at Prospect Heights OMNI Youth Services Center on Monday, Jan. 26
| WHAT: | As part of a bimonthly development meeting, five general management trainees from Prospect Heights-based Household International are filling a day off of school for 20 area children, ages 6-13, with educational activities and crafts on Monday, Jan. 26 at the OMNI Youth Services Community Resource Center in Prospect Heights, Ill.
Household rewards the personal volunteerism of its employees and will also be presenting a $1,000 grant to OMNI on behalf of their efforts.
Since 1979, Household has partnered with OMNI Youth Services and has contributed over $280,000 to support the organization's mission to develop responsible youth and strengthen families in our communities. Household is also the Honorary Chair for the 2004 OMNI Gala, scheduled for Saturday, March 13 at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.
