Prospect Heights, IL -- February 11, 2003 -- Household International (NYSE: HI), the $110 billion (managed assets) lender, today announced that its retail services business has entered into a new agreement with Levitz Home Furnishings, Inc. The multi-year contract is estimated to produce more than $3 billion in private label credit card sales for Levitz Furniture, Seaman's Furniture, and Seamans's Kids brands.

The new contract extends a relationship with Levitz Home Furnishings, Inc., the parent company of both Seaman Furniture and Levitz Furniture Corp. Household has managed Seaman's private label credit card program since 1997 and the Levitz program since 1998.
