HSBC to Open Select Branches on Sundays

New York – HSBC Bank USA today announced that 22 high-traffic branches in metropolitan New York will now be open on Sundays. This will supplement the HSBC branches that already offer Sunday hours. Expanded Sunday branch openings will commence on Sunday, June 1, 2003.
"HSBC is always looking for ways to make banking as convenient as possible for our customers," noted David Kotheimer, Regional President, metropolitan New York, HSBC Bank USA. "We operated Sunday hours with several Manhattan branches since 1997 and based on the positive response, have decided to expand this option. Our customers can now bank with us during weekday business hours, on weekends or 24/7 via the Internet."
The following branches in Manhattan will now be open on Sunday:
611 W. 14th Street (8th Avenue)
Lenox Hill (1340 Third Avenue; near 77th Street)
Soho (599 Broadway; near Houston Street)
West End (2401 Broadway; near 88th Street)
The following branches in Queens will now be open on Sunday:
Flushing (39-10 Main Street; near 39th Avenue)
