HSBC Bank USA Relocates Miami Branch
24 August 2001
HSBC Bank USA today announced plans to re-locate its Miami Beach branch to a new, state-of-the-art facility located at 301 Arthur Godfrey Road (41st Street). The bank anticipates that the new, 14,000 square foot branch will begin operations on Monday, August 27, 2001.
According to Trace A. Vonada, a vice president and Miami Beach branch manager, the new facility will allow HSBC to increase branch amenities and services. Weve made banking easier for our customers by adding conveniences such as drive-thru teller and ATM service, he stated. This move also allows us to significantly increase the staff size in our Miami Beach branch, which will strengthen our ability to offer the personalized, responsive service that HSBC is known for.
Other branch enhancements include additional number of safety deposit boxes and ample customer parking. The Miami Beach branch hours will continue to be Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Over the past few years, HSBCs presence in Florida has grown. Earlier this year, the bank opened a new branch in Coral Gables, increasing the total number of south Florida branches to eight.
