International Opportunities with HSBC
If you are an HSBC employee impacted by a recent business restructuring or closure
During the timeframe between your release date and your termination date, you will still be able to access the Employee Career Portal as an employee to view and apply to available positions.
-
Your release date is your last day at work and should have been communicated to you by your manager
-
Your termination date is your last day on the payroll and should also have been communicated to you by your manager
It is important that you follow the instructions to access the Employee Career Portal. The benefits of using this portal versus applying to the external careers site are as follows:
-
Ability to view positions that are posted internally
-
Your employee profile has an employee indicator which allows the recruiter to easily identify you in the list of candidates that apply to any open position. This indicator allows the recruiter to prioritize in reviewing your resume against the requirements of the position.
After your termination date (last day on the payroll), you will no longer be able to access the Employee Career Portal. At this point you will need to search and apply for positions from the external careers site. This site can be accessed by clicking Job Search in the menu bar to the left.
-
If you know your login and password associated with the Employee profile, you can use this information to access the External Candidate Portal
-
This will allow you to view and update your profile information and apply to available positions
-
If you do not remember your login details and do not have access to the email address associated with the employee profile you will be required to create a new account
