General FAQs for Impacted Employees
As impacted employees have continued the Career Track posting process, there have been additional questions that have been posed regarding the posting process. Below, please find answers to some FAQ's that Resourcing has fielded in the past weeks.
How can I post for international positions?
To visit Careers websites for a specific country/region, you may visit the following links:
I posted for an open requisition, but later on received an e-mail informing me that the position was cancelled? Aren't all the positions posted on Career Track open?
Resourcing meets regularly with the Hiring Managers of each requisition on Career Track to review the viability of the position. There are instances where, due to the transformation on the business or changing business needs, it is determined that a position no longer needs to be filled. In these cases, the Recruiter will reach out to any candidates that have applied for that requisition, and inform them of the cancellation of the requisition; impacted employees will receive a phone call alerting them of the requisition change, while non-impacted employees will receive an e-mail.
How long will it take for a recruiter to contact me regarding a position I posted for? How will they contact me (phone, e-mail, etc.)?
Impacted employees can expect to hear from a Recruiter within 10 business days of posting to a requisition. Based on a review of the impacted employee's profile, the Recruiter will contact the employee via e-mail (at the e-mail address listed within their Career Track profile) to either invite them to participate in the interview process, or to advise that their skill set is not a match.
To ensure you receive timely responses related to your postings, you MUST update your Career Track profile with your current phone number and e-mail address.
How can I check the status of the positions I posted for?
To view the status of your job posting, log in to Career Track and access the candidate workbench. Under the section "Job Submittal History" you can see a listing of positions that you have applied to in the last 120 days and your current status.
If you had previously applied to a position and it is no longer visible on your workbench, that position has been filled or cancelled.
If an impacted employee is removed from consideration for a position, you will be notified via phone of the decision; you will also receive an e-mail informing you of this fact. Again, you must have a current phone number and e-mail on file to receive these notices.
