Navigating the Career Track Portal

Advanced Search - This link takes you to the search page where you can search for open positions by location, job title, global career band, job category, keywords, and requisition id.
My Job Cart - If you see a job you are interested in, you are able to save that job by clicking on "Add to Job Cart," just as you would add to a "shopping cart" when making online purchases. Then, you click on the Job Cart to display all the jobs you've selected. You have the option to remove any jobs from the cart by clicking the delete button. Adding jobs to your job cart does not indicate that you have applied for them. You can apply for all the jobs in your cart by checking the box to the left of the job title and then clicking the "apply" button.
Search Agent - With a Search Agent, you can set up key words and other search criteria and when a new job is posted that matches your criteria, the Job Agent will notify you by e-mail.
Workbench - The Workbench tab displays all jobs for which you have applied and the tasks you may need to complete, such as completing an assessment.
My Profile - This is where you can update your resume, email address, contact information, and additional information.
Updating your profile in Career Track
In order to be considered for a position, you must update your profile with your current resume, email address and contact information.
Click on "My Profile" to review and make changes to your profile.
From here you have the ability to copy and paste your resume from a word document into the "Resume" section.
You can also attach a copy of your resume under "Manage Your Files" using the "Add" link.
This menu is located on the left hand side of the Career Track portal. The links listed in this menu allow you to access various sections of the portal. A brief description of each is listed below. The titles in italics below are the most commonly used links on the menu.
