Career Track FAQ's
I don't have a resume. Is one required?
Yes, an electronic resume is required in order to be considered for a position. The resume is used to determine if you meet the basic qualifications for the position. If you apply for a position without an updated resume, you may be removed from consideration.
How can I learn more about a position on Career Track for which I want to apply?
Details for the positions are included in the job description. If you are qualified, depending on the size of the candidate pool, you may hear from a recruiter to discuss next steps. Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for requisitions can be between 30 and 120 days.
I'm receiving an error message "Issue Processing Request" while in Career Track. What do I do?
This error message may be caused by a full system cache. Each time you access a file through your Web browser, the browser caches (temporarily stores) it so you can quickly access it again. When the cache becomes full, your browser may become significantly slower or it may "crash." It is recommended that you clear the contents of your browser cache regularly.
What happens after I apply for a job?
Once you apply for a job, you will receive an automatic e-mail response to confirm that your application has been received. A member of the recruiting team will review your information to determine if your skills and qualifications match the requirements of the job. If so, you will be contacted to begin the interview process. Otherwise, you will be removed from consideration so that you may post for other open positions.
How can I check the status of my job posting?
To view the status of your job posting, log in to Career Track and access the candidate workbench. Under the section "Job Submittal History" you can see a listing of positions that you have applied to in the last 120 days and your current status.
If you had previously applied to a position and it is no longer visible on your workbench, that position has been filled or cancelled.
If you have been removed from consideration for a position, you will be notified via e-mail of the decision so that you can apply for other positions. You must have an e-mail address on file to receive this notice.
Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for requisitions can be between 30 and 120 days.
Can I remove myself from consideration for a position?
If you have applied for a position and no longer wish to be considered, you are able to remove yourself from consideration.
To remove yourself from consideration, log in to Career Track and access your candidate workbench. From the candidate workbench, click on the link for the position you no longer wish to be considered. At the bottom of the job description select the link "If you no longer wish to be considered for this job, click here". Please note, you do not have the ability to re-apply once you have removed yourself from consideration.
