Retail Banking and Wealth Management Graduate Development Program
Overview
The HBUS RBWM Graduate Development Program is an intensive two-year program designed to foster HSBC's future leaders.
Through rotational assignments, coursework and training, you will be expected to acquire a diverse set of skills, a deep understanding of the business, and leverage your developing capabilities into practical and strategic results. You will gain valuable experience in both our in-branch and corporate environments through a combination of classroom, interactive seminars, formal work assignments, and project work. While rotating through the different areas, you will be exposed to retail and commercial banking services, sales and customer experience, and a network of contacts from all levels of management.
In addition, you will gain exposure in supporting functions such as products, operations, marketing and risk management. Along the way, you will be expected to develop the core banking, management and leadership skills necessary to move into a permanent role in the organization. You will be continually challenged, but have the support of colleagues, "buddies" and mentors, HSBC leadership, and a program manager.
During the program, you may be required to successfully pass a series of exams such as Series 6, Series 63, Life and Health. Upon successful completion of the program, you will compete for roles in the organization based on your success during the program, career path, and business needs.

- Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) Retail Network
- Business Banking
