Commercial Banking Graduate Development Program
Overview
The Commercial Banking Graduate Development Program is a nine month training program developed for aspiring graduates looking to gain solid Credit experience while simultaneously experiencing the excitement of working directly with HSBC's Commercial Banking clients.
The program seeks to:
- Provide an introduction to HSBC’s culture and strategy
- Enhance Analytical & Technical Skills & Relationship Management skills
- Present opportunities for improving communication skills
- Provide exposure to HSBC's Commercial Banking division
- Offer challenging stretch assignments for participants
Target Outcomes
All graduates progress through the phased program which features an initial four months of in-depth training on banking products and credit skills based in New York followed by five months in the position of Analyst within a National Commercial Banking department. The complete nine month training program aims to equip graduates with core credit skills as well as enhancing HSBC group capabilities of Navigating, Driving, Aspiring, Mobilizing and Sustaining with targeted development of:

Duration
The program spans nine months and offers graduates exposure to numerous product lines and business areas, including but not limited to:
